RTITB HIAB - Vehicle - Mounted Hydraulic Loader Novice, Refresher and Experienced User Course

Course Duration: 1 - 2 Days (Dependent on number of Delegates and level of experience. Delivered on Customer premises only - Maximum of 2 delegates)

Course Detail

We encourage the trainees to assess the load and think the lift through before the lift commences. We present the candidates with challenging lifts in order to reinforce the importance of safe working practices. We address any mistakes or unsafe practices here in the training environment to ensure that the successful candidates are not only confident but competent.

Includes training, assessments & on completion of the training the trainee will recieve a certificate of achievement.

• Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998
• Pre-Use Checks & Maintenance
• Stability of the HIAB Lorry Loader
• An introduction to the machine and controls
• Pre-Use Checks & Maintenance
• Positioning the Lorry Loader
• Lifting and transporting a load nearby
• Lifting and transporting a load from distance
• Basic Hand Signals
• Basic Slinging (for HIAB with hook attachment)
• Stacking loads (for HIAB with brick clamp attachment)
• Bucket Work & Tipping (for HIAB with a bucket grab attachment)

All courses can be delivered at your premises throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
