PASMA Mobile Tower for Users Operator Training Course

Course Duration: 1 Day

PASMA (Prefabricated Aluminum Suppliers & Manufactures Association), provides a recognised standard for safe use of Aluminum Towers. The mobile scaffold tower course is aimed at anyone that assembles, alters, dismantles, moves, inspects and most importantly uses Alloy or Fibreglass Mobile Access Towers in the workplace. This not only includes construction sites but all workplaces, such as schools, offices and factories.

Learning Objectives:

How to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to the candidate or others; using the approved build methods.

All successful candidates will receive the following upon completion;

• PASMA photo card & certificate which is valid for 5 years

Theory Session:

• Legislation, Regulations and Guidance on working at height with mobile access towers
• PASMA Code of Practice
• Product Standards EN 1004:2004,
• Assembling, altering and dismantling towers
• Fall protect best practises 
• Inspection of completed mobile access towers
• Tower Inspection Records
• Multiple Choice Mock Exam
• Multiple Choice Exam

Practical Session:

• Assemble & dismantle the tower
• Using the recommended assembly method 3T & AGR
• Moving the Tower
• Following the current instruction manual
• Tower inspection
• Practical Training
• Practical Assessment
