CSCS Green Card Changes - New Qualification Requirement

From 1^st July 2014 the green Construction Site Operative (CSO) card will no longer be issued.  There will be a new green CSCS card available for people who are working in a labouring occupation.

Those wanting to apply for the new Green Construction Site Operative Card will be required to achieve a Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification. This Health & Safety qualification is designed to improve safe working practices on construction sites around the UK. This includes both those who are new to the construction industry as well as those who are renewing their card.

What do I need to do?

The best way for those working in a labouring occupation to qualify for the new Green Labourer Card is to complete EAL’s new Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

National Safety Training Services are an accredited EAL training centre, already approved to deliver this Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment
