The aim to get 330 (22%) into sustained jobs or self-employment and 450 (30%) into apprenticeships or further learning / training. With our support, the aim is to help 1200 (80%) young people to improve their ability to cope with long-term unemployment, develop greater self-confidence, and increase their sense of optimism about the future.
As part of this unique Humber Talent Match program NSTS will be hosting an initial ice breaker day out with the team at NSTS and an end of course celebration. They are in talks with a couple of local employers to secure vital work experience for our young people and we are keen to hear from more employers who could provide any places for up to 3-4 weeks work experience for our young people”. The work experience will only take place once the young people are fully qualified and ‘work ready’. This work experience has already started and the initial feedback has been very successful.
